Ban on Political Shitposts and Political Karmawhoring
For the period of October 21, 2020 - November, 4, 2020, /r/pics will not allow political shitposts (example) or political karmawhoring (example, example). A post will be considered to be political karma whoring if it is political in nature and the image not of current events. We are relying on the /r/pics community to report posts that violate this injunction on political posts.Posts depicting, containing, or referencing political content will only be allowed if they comprise unaltered photographs that are less than twenty-four hours old.This temporary injunction will be rescinded after the close of the American presidential election.
